It’s been a while coming (we first reported on this last April) but The Veggie Grill is set to start work on their second Irvine location, at the Spectrum. From Fast Food Maven Nancy Luna’s piece today:
The Irvine Spectrum Veggie Grill will open in November, just in time for the holiday rush. The mall gets about 15 million annual visitors, so Boylan expects the third Veggie Grill to be the chain’s top performer.
By the end of 2009, he and his partners hope to have seven Veggie Grills open in Southern California. Next stop: West Los Angeles.
The UCI spot isn’t the most freeway-close location, so it’s nice that the new restaurant is right off the 5. Now, if they could just get themselves some soda, everyone would be happy…
