Got this from Willa of the Atheists, Agnostics, and Rationalists at UCI today:
I’d like to invite you … to come support Atheists, Agnostics, and Rationalists at UCI at Gina’s Pizza in Irvine! On February 6th, if you present our flyer to the cashier, Gina’s will give 15% of the sale to AAR! It is valid for the entire day, so feel free to use it for lunch or dinner. =)

Hours: 11am - 10pmI’ve attached our flyer (.doc). All you have to do is print it out, and hand it to the cashier when you purchase some scrumptious, freshly-baked Gina’s pizza! They also have great salads, tasty pasta dishes, and beer!
AAR works very closely with Orange County Atheists on a lot of project - you’re gonna eat pizza tomorrow anyway, go down to Gina’s (I’ve had it - it’s great) and help some local folks out.

Sorry, don’t live in LA
Still food for a good cause is always to be supported. I will eat pizza using the Simpson pizza cutter (it still is funny, although it freaks us out when things are quiet… too quiet)
PS WHat is the meaning behind the symbols at the top?

At the top of the LAV page? Or of the AAR@UCI graphic?
The Liberal Atheist Vegetarian banner has ironic images to go with each word - Bush (certainly not a liberal), Kirk Cameron (has his own evangelical television show, certainly not an atheist) and a hamburger (certainly not vegetarian).
As for their graphic, you’d have to ask them.

Wait- that’s Kirk Cameron? Banana dude?

One of the banana dudes, yeah. The picture is from his Growing Pains days, though.
We have it on pretty good authority that he (and Ray Comfort) don’t do the banana shtick anymore, as someone told them that the modern banana is actually the result of several thousand years of selective breeding, and most natural/wild bananas are inedible.
