Vegetarian masses: I need your help.

See, I’ve got this friend. And this friend went vegetarian at age 16, and he hasn’t eaten anything with gelatin since then. But he loves fruit gelatin, and would love to be able to make something like a Jello Shot - a gelled suspension of alcohol and fruit. While there are plenty of pre-fab gel cup desserts made with carrageenan, he’s never seen a powdered mix to make your own gel desserts that doesn’t contain gelatin.

Now, this friend isn’t an alcoholic - he’s a really good guy - but he just wants a vegetarian Jello Shot. Can you help a brother out? I, er, I mean, he thanks you.
